The Justice League, Suicide Squad and general comic book merriment is well represented at the upcoming DC Universe: The Exhibit, part of the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood. TravelPulse had the opportunity to stop by and witness the exhibit that will open May 24.

Let's just say our inner nerd was screaming to be let out and play with every last movie prop as if we were Harley Quinn left to her own devices.

Thankfully, we remained composed as we stepped through the doorway and saw firsthand where we have come in terms of national geekdom.

The first items that capture the eye are the giant banners that show the Justice League in its glory. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and the rest of the gang are there to greet you in image form.

Underneath their giant images, however, is a nice, subtle nod to history as the first comic issue of each character is presented.

This being part of the tour, we have to warn that this isn't an immersive dive into all things DC. The room is relatively small considering how much wallop Warner Bros. packs into it.

As part of an already grand tour, there is more than enough to sate that nerd fix of yours.

And the exhibit had the approval of resident celeb geeks in the form of the Lakers' Jordan Clarkson and KISS frontman Gene Simmons, who were both in attendance.

Simmons didn't hold back the exuberance: "The great thing about what Warner Bros. and DC have done is to show everybody that the geeks have finally won."

Simmons continued emphatically, "It's our world and now you just live in it."

And that's the general sense from the group that was in attendance, a swarm of press that was peppered with a healthy amount of people donning superhero t-shirts and other attire.

Adults were, for a moment, kids again as they went through and snapped off pictures of Harley Quinn's mallet, which carried the words, "You're so funny you're killing me. Or am I killing you? Hahaha," and other awesome items.

While you will need to keep your hands to yourself in regards to the wonderful display of props and costumes, you can go ahead and lift some leftover Kryptonite via Lex Corp.

And you can, of course, just walk around and take in a wild scene.

DC is deep into its revival of its iconic superheroes. "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" premiered early this year and "Suicide Squad" will wow audiences on Aug. 5.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood's Executive Director, Danny Kahn explained the theme of this great hall of superhero justice: "Since 1934, DC Comics has built a legacy of creating the world's greatest Super Heroes and Super-Villains. DC Universe: The Exhibit gives you the chance to explore the world of these characters from their first comic book appearance to our latest feature film."

Soon fans of all ages will be able to see firsthand the captivating history of the world's finest heroes.
