Icelandair Teaches Travelers How To Tour Europe Like a Local

Might we interest you in a crash course in some of the most amazing European cultures before your next visit?

Thanks to Icelandair, we have a gorgeous infographic that walks us all through the particulars behind acting like a local in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Barcelona and Reykjavik.

Now this is hardly an exhaustive list containing every last instance that will have Parisians and London locals alike thinking you are from the area, but it's a start. For example, if you are in Barcelona and need some info on the next train or some other crucial detail, feel free to push and shove for the answer.

This is counter to how things are done in merry ol’ London where the queue is a sacred and time-honored tradition. Cut the line at your own peril.

Our favorite tip is for Paris-bound travelers, however. While it may be completely normal to ask for a take-away bag at dinner, it’s frowned upon in France. That just means we have to finish all of our meal.

Consider this a cheat sheet in how to skate by until you refine your local game. And, of course, we would love to hear what tips you might have for us as well.
