Kate Winslet relived a classic moment from the movie "Titanic" with world adventurer Bear Grylls recently. Thankfully, for Grylls, this didn't mean Winslet floating off on a board while he succumbed to the freezing depths of the Atlantic Ocean.
No, it was far more lighthearted than all that.
As Mashable spots, the 39-year-old was a guest on "Running Wild with Bear Grylls," which took place in Wales.
More specifically, Winslet was high atop one of Wales' coastline cliffs, ready to rappel down with the aid of the show's host.
A perilous situation received a dose of pop culture frivolity when Winslet let go of the rope and instantly delivered a "Titanic" performance:
The video ends with the two making their way through frigid waters to a small boat, which makes a far better aquatic conveyance than a floating piece of wood-one that could have totally fit two people, by the way.
As YouTube explains, the show "follows Bear Grylls as he takes eight stars into the most remote and pristine locations around the world for a 48-hour journey of a lifetime."
Winslet offered a bit more on why she decided to be among the eight who dived into adrenaline inducing adventures around the globe:
The show's website promises more fun with the likes of Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Drew Brees, Ed Helms and Kate Hudson.
All of whom will be pushed to the limits of their comfort zone, which is exactly how a great deal of us like to travel.
These are not exactly the cabana-lounging vacations you might need every summer. Rather, they are the action-packed retreats that test the mettle and move the spirit.
They also provide for some very timely movie reenactments, it seems.
