Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's over-the-top wedding won't take place at the Palace of Versailles, the iconic landmark outside of Paris, Radar Online reports.
Officials have reportedly denied the couple's request to use the landmark as their venue.
The palace, located in the village of Versailles, was built in the 17th century and was home to Marie Antoinette. It's one of the most famous buildings in the world.
Some of the huge spaces are available to rent for events, however, Kimye may be too famous for the famous building.
Kim, 33, and Kanye, 36, were allegedly told a "wedding/reception wouldn't take place at Versailles. It would just have been too intrusive for visitors to the Palace, and the staff," a source told Radar.
The engaged couple was spotted leaving the Palace after dark on Sunday evening, which led to intial suspicion that they would wed there.
"Kim and Kanye will now be scouting private estates and chateau's in the region. Working with an estate manager would be much easier than dealing with all of the red tape of having a wedding at a public venue. The couple is looking for something grand, but something that can offer privacy and security," the source says.
Kim and Kanye may want to take a look at our list of venue suggestions in Paris and pick one that will better accommodate them.
What do you think? Should Kim and Kanye be allowed to get married at the Palace of Versailles?
