Mariah Carey Drops $10K A Night On Humble Malibu Airbnb

Mariah Carey ditched the normal comforts of a luxurious hotel to stay in an Airbnb.

Now don’t worry. Mimi didn’t exactly stay in someone’s spare bedroom, which usually means having an awkward conversation every time you came in for the night.

According to her Instagram and Twitter feeds, Carey found lavish beachside accommodations befitting someone whose necklaces are brighter than a stroll along the Las Vegas strip.

Below is a snapshot of the happiness that comes with being able to drop $10,000 on an Airbnb.

The backyard was fairly sizable as well, being the Pacific Ocean and all.

Page Six has the details on an extravagant stay on private property.

According to the report, Carey, who is preparing to travel to Israel, decided on a Malibu respite on Billionaire’s Beach—where we presume the beach balls are gilded and the picnics feature lobster in various forms.

In any case, $10,000 a night is a steal when you consider the humble abode is a reported $30 million estate.

Page Six describes the digs: “The four-bed, four-bath pad offers a living room with fireplace, an outdoor Jacuzzi, a gourmet kitchen, a private master suite on the second level with fireplace, plus a two-room guest cottage.”

The part of the report that really proved astounding is Carey will be staying there until the end of the month: “She’s expected to reside in Malibu with her Australian billionaire beau James Packer and her kids before she jets to Israel for a concert at the end of August.”

Mimi and crew are dropping 10 grand like we take down McNuggets.
