Finally, there’s a cruise where flaunting your cat pictures isn’t only accepted, it’s encouraged.

Now before we delve into this story that features a cat cruise without any cats, we may like to offer an extremely unpopular opinion.

We need to calm down with the cat love. We have cafes, conventions and now cruises that cater to people who can’t go ten minutes without showing a picture of Mr. Meowington Von Snugglesworth.

Now hold your outrage for a second while we deliver some exciting news reported on by Cat Channel’s Tamar Arslanian.

Arslanian spoke to Anna Conway who started the Meow Meow Cruise, an oceanic getaway for cat owners who were forced to leave their feline friends at home during vacation.

Like parents who can’t stop talking about what little Timmy is doing up at university, this trip allows you to carouse with fellow cat lovers and shares pictures and stories.

Snark aside, it sounds like a blast—at least if you are the kind of person who counts kitten sweaters among your personal valuables.

Those interested can visit the website that offers details as well as a brief explanation: “This is a cruise for people who love cats. I find every time I go on a cruise I run into some people who loves cats as much as I do and we end up sharing photos and talking about their personalities. So, I created this group cruise to bring us together.”

Cruise organizers remain sticks in some very murky mud, so the website offers the obvious notation: “Unfortunately the little critters cannot join us but we can send postcards home.”

Give it a few days and the postcard will be dropped in the mail, which is when Purrcivel Whiskerston III will put down his cup of coffee and see how your trip is going.

The second annual Meow Meow Cruise is set to go off April 21, 2016, which will depart from Tampa for a four-night holiday to Cozumel.

And, if flashing cat photos doesn’t satisfy you, there will be t-shirts made available for sale, of which we would like to request one in XL, please.
