One of the biggest downsides of traveling is leaving the family pet at home, but there is a new website called dedicated to taking care of your feline friends while you’re out of town.

According to Genevieve Shaw Brown of Good Morning America, owners of the website have started another site dedicated to taking care of cats after the booming success of the initial idea. was launched on Tuesday. is a site that helps travelers looking for a boarding house-type place to leave their pet while they are out of town by using a network of workers who will care for the animal in their home.

On the other hand, has a different business model. Instead of dropping your feline friend off at an animal boarding house, employees of the company would be sent to the traveler’s home to take care of the cat in its natural environment.

Owners have the choice of hiring someone to stop by their home to check in on the cat or paying the person to stay at their home to provide the feline around-the-clock supervision.

With an estimated 95 million cats and 83 million dogs in the United States, according to Shaw Brown, the business model is smart because it fills a void that has always been an area of concern for travelers. Owners want to leave their pets in good hands, and the addition of with satisfies the demand.

One of the major advantages the site had before launching was a built-in network of 10,000 registered users willing to take care of your feline friends, per Shaw Brown. The growth hasn’t come without some issues, though, as the website simply directs travelers to a page on
