Nintendo Announces Details for Video Game-Themed Amusement Park
Video game fans, rejoice! Universal Studios Japan has announced more details about the plans for the world’s first theme park based on Nintendo games. Universal Studios is investing $350 million on the Nintendo theme park in Osaka, Japan.

Disney Parks Announce Summer Event Lineup
Walt Disney World Resort has announced its summer lineup for its theme parks, including blockbuster events at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney Springs and Water Parks Make a Splash and others.

Myrtle Beach Building $100 Million Chinese Cultural Theme Park
Myrtle Beach Mayor John Rhodes announced that the city has received a $100 million commitment to build a Chinese Cultural Theme Park similar to Disney’s Epcot. Construction is expected to begin later this year.

Harry Potter Ride at Universal Studios Reportedly Making People Sick
Reports suggest that a ride at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood is making people sick. “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey” is supposed to be the same as its counterpart in Orlando, but rumors suggest the ride is making riders throw up.


A 29-year-old man from England proposed to his girlfriend during a log flume ride by showing a shirt that said “Will you marry me?” at the moment the ride’s camera snapped a photo. The man’s girlfriend happily accepted the proposal after seeing the image.

After a terrifying incident that injured 16 people in June 2015—including at least four serious injuries—the Alton Towers theme park will once again open The Smiler roller coaster for the 2016 season.

For those who have experienced the old Navy Pier Ferris wheel in Chicago, the newer and taller attraction has finally received an opening date of May 27.

TNA Impact Wrestling is returning to Universal Studios in Orlando on March 15 to 19 for five days of televised events, including a live taping of the company’s flagship show on Tuesday, March 15.
