Olympic Golfer Has His Clubs Back

For the first time in 112 years, golf is an Olympic sport again.
For Argentinian golfer Emiliano Grillo, it only felt that long when his clubs went missing while flying to the Summer Olympics in Rio.
That set off a series of hilarious tweets by the 23-year old that, fortunately, came to a happy resolution after less than 24 hours of separation.
The adventure started on Sunday over two airlines – American Airlines and Latam, a South American carrier – and stops in New York, Miami, Sao Paulo and, finally, Rio.
@AmericanAir seriously, find me a human in JFK, MIA, or Sao Paolo that can physically look for my bag and confirm where it is and send it.— Emiliano Grillo (@GrilloEmiliano) August 8, 2016
And then, a short while later, a tweet to Latam.
When American Airlines responded to one of Grillo’s tweets, he replied with a sarcastic “Thanks???”
Clearly, however, he was finding some humor in the whole thing.
On a high note, thank you so much @dominos for the delivery at 3 AM. I don't know what would I do without your love.— Emiliano Grillo (@GrilloEmiliano) August 7, 2016
Or, at the very least, remaining optimistic.
Dónde crees que están mis palos?— Emiliano Grillo (@GrilloEmiliano) August 8, 2016
Where do you think my clubs are?
And even invoking the hottest pop culture trend there is.
Finally, the story of a boy and his golf clubs had a joyous ending.
I am never letting you go again... Until next flight...— Emiliano Grillo (@GrilloEmiliano) August 9, 2016
