People Seem To Enjoy This Rock In Brazil That Swallows People

Head on down to Brazil and enjoy a rock formation that welcomes anyone who actually enjoys a claustrophobic and entirely terrifying experience.

YouTube channel Insider highlights the polarizing “Pedra Que Engole” or, rather, “The Rock That Swallows.”

You see, some will come to Trindade in Brazil and revel in the fact that you can nestle up to a rock and enjoy water pour over you as you slip into a crevice.

Others, we call them sane people, will see an opportunity to sit next to a gaping hole as water rushes into your screaming mouth as the earth opens up and swallows you for all eternity.

Thankfully, that is just how you might feel, because you will get out just fine.

Now you may have already bitten your fingernails clean off after seeing that video.

However, various comments on TripAdvisor should not only put your mind at ease but also motivate you to seek out one of this planet’s more peculiar landmarks.

One comment states: “It's awesome! It just literally swallows you! and then you swim underneath this big rock until you make it out of it. Did it twice.”

And another proclaims: “Definitely worth it! This huge rock that seems to literally swallow you (as the name of it says in Portuguese) takes you to a little pool underneath of it. It might seem a little scary at first, but it's fun, guaranteed.”

So, according to people who dove into a perfectly good rock, the experience is well worth any trepidation you might experience at first.

We have already seen too many episodes of “Stranger Things,” so we will have to take your word for it.
