When Hawaiian amateur photographer Michael Karas arrived at California's Yosemite National Park last Thursday, he never expected to capture the perfect wedding picture.
According to ABCNews.com, the 31-year-old Karas was at the national park with a friend looking to capture a sunset image when they noticed a couple dressed in a tuxedo and wedding dress posing on a protruding stone in front of the setting sun.
Instinctively, Karas began taking photos of the couple with the beautiful scenery around them. He believes the couple was there with a photographer of their own, but he wants to make sure they get to see the images he took that day.
When Karas attempted to reach the area where the couple was standing to show them his pictures, they were gone. The amateur photographer has posted the images to his Instagram account with the hopes of using social media to connect him with the bride and groom.
The official Twitter account of NBC Nightly News shared the photograph:
"I'd love to share my photos with them," Karas told ABCNews.com. "I never saw their photographer come around to where we were to snap the photos I got from my angle, so I know they don't have a shot like this. I would love for them to have it."
