Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana is just days old but already giving away free pizza to those in the United Kingdom.
Allow us to explain.
The adorable infant hasn’t taken to delivering pizza, because infants remain rather horrible at fast-food conveyance. But it seems Pizza Hut UK is throwing something of a free-pizza giveaway thanks to the ensuing royal-baby mania.
On Monday the company gladly tweeted out the following to its followers, complete with some promising emojis.
The tweet sent users to a Metro report that promised: “Are you called Charlotte? Then it's free pizza time.”
Metro’s Yvette Caster has the skinny on some seriously delicious news for anyone in the United Kingdom with the name Charlotte.
Caster states: “The first 100 Charlottes through the doors at Pizza Huts in The Strand in London, Kirkstall Road in Leeds, Liverpool ONE, Hanover Street in Edinburgh and The Trafford Centre in Manchester will get a free main meal.”
There is no word on the company’s social media outlets as to whether each location has met its Charlotte limit, but we imagine there is a general clamor by those with the auspicious name at the moment.
Metro quotes Pizza Hut’s Kathryn Austin who offered, “The royal birth is such a momentous occasion, we want to celebrate and welcome the new arrival in a way that our customers can also enjoy.”
Now this comes after the royal couple offered fans who camped out at St. Mary’s Hospital free pastries prior to their second child’s birth.
It seems that aside from delivering smiles and brilliant photo opportunities for her proud parents, Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana is garnering quite the treasure trove for foodies.
