Chicago is very much a favorite spot to travel. Most of the time you won't need much convincing to visit the city that hosts the Friendly Confines, but I may have something to make the decision even easier, and it has to do with your childhood heartthrobs.

It was a simpler time when you could play a board game to talk to a cute guy and "Whatever" was the response to just about everything. Beverly Hills 90210 was the biggest television show on all screens across the universe and you wrote "Mrs. Luke Perry" all over your Trapper Keeper while Backstreet Boys played out of your CD player.

What if you were able to travel back in time to witness your favorite hearthrobs in person? The "REwind Convention" can do that for you.

Taking place at Hilton Indian Lakes Resort in Bloomingdale next weekend, you can meet your favorite celebrities from the 80's and 90's. You can get autographs from 90210 stars Jennie Garth, Jason Priestly and Luke Perry along with Growing Pains own Alan Thicke and Tracey Gold. (I hope I got the theme song stuck in your head.)

If you were boy band obsessed back in the day (and who wasn't) you can meet member of 98 degrees, Backstreet Boys, N'SYNC, and O'Town. It doesn't stop there. Just about any hottie you remember drooling over including the London brothers and Gremlins star Zach Galligan will be there.

The list of guests is so big, I can't name them all, so check the rest out on the official REwind Con site.

REWind Convention in Chicago

Can't make it to the Chicago convention? That's okay. There are other opportunities in Dallas, St. Louis, New York, Orlando and Atlanta leading up until 2018

Let your inner fangirl flag fly, and don't be shy to let your childhood crush know you secretly planned your wedding when you were in high school. Don't actually do that, just enjoy yourself.
