Deep in the heart of Texas resides a hotel staff dedicated to granting every last one of your wishes, including those that include pictures of Nicolas Cage.
It seems the Internet, safe haven for all things puppies, kittens and, as it were, Nic Cage, produced one of the more delightful stories this week.
San Antonio Current's Albert Salazar reports on a guest whose stay at San Antonio's Hotel Indigo included images of the actor who entertained millions in such classic films as Face/Off and Con Air plastered all over the room.
It all started when a guest who goes by the name FreePsychicReadings on Imgur stopped by the hotel for business. The rest is an awesome case of one-upsmanship we will have to remember the next time we check into a hotel.
FreePsychicReadings explains, "I got this text when I checked into the Hotel Indigo San Antonio Riverwalk basically letting me know if I needed anything, I just needed to ask. For [expletive] and giggles during my boring work conference, I asked for a framed picture of Nic Cage in Con Air. When I got an affirmative response, I thought it was auto generated and went about my day."
Well, when it was time to return to the room this Cage fan found this:

It seems manager Ramon Rangel is both resourceful and extremely hilarious, because Cage from Con Air made his way into the room.
The gags, thankfully, continued as this Imgurian continued to test the boundaries of the staff's prolific Cage collection.
A request for a Cage from Moonstruck and towels was left unfulfilled, so another text went out with the request. This time a staff member texted back, "I apologize. I will have the towels sent up shortly."
And, as you guessed, more than towels made their way to the room:

Salazar spoke with Rangel who explained the exchange was truly unique. But it seems it was a joy for staff as well as this particular patron. Salazar writes, "Rangel remarked that this was not the weirdest request he's had from a guest, 'but it was definitely fun.'"
Now this definitely ranks slightly above the clichéd service with a smile. No, we much rather prefer what they are doling out in San Antonio, which is the rare service with a randomly placed image of Nicolas Cage taken from one of his many masterpieces.
