“The Empire Strikes Back” is possibly the greatest sequel ever created, and Secret Cinema’s screening of the event at least sounds like the greatest pop culture event going on this year.

The only problem is you traveling Jedi and sith lords will have to make a leap of faith, because much of the details have been kept secret.

But from what we can glean from Secret Cinema’s website, Facebook and Twitter feed, as well as reports like that from The Telegraph, is that the occasion is as much fun as a bender at a cantina on Tatooine.

The production’s latest endeavor is a summer-long screening of the classic film “The Empire Strikes Back,” which takes place from June 4 to Sept. 27 in London.

Now before we get to this amazing “Star Wars” show, you might want to see what went down when Secret Cinema screened “Back to the Future,” which we covered last year.

A simulated world and live performances add to the presentation of a film audiences know well and adore immensely.

And this is precisely what you can expect with the latest endeavor.

IGN’s podcast went to a recent screening. While they are tightlipped on what exactly occurs, there is enough discussed to have us thoroughly excited to see it ourselves. (Video features some NSFW language)

As best we can tell, there is a cantina that is as raucous as you would expect and jawas that are keen to barter.

Those interested can get tickets, which come at a handsome price, at the official website. It states merely that the occasion is held in London but the exact whereabouts are a secret, so you will have to plunk down in upwards of £78 (or about $124) and hope the entertainment meets the cost of admission.

Here is a glimpse via Twitter:

The world patiently awaits the latest in the franchise in “The Force Awakens,” which has taken excitement for the series to an unbelievable level.

The sequel to Episode IV is arguably the best in the series. Actually, hold that. It is the best in the series, offering up a darker action adventure movie that delivers one of the biggest surprises in cinema history.

You could say we are pretty big fans.

So something of this magnitude is nearly a must-see event if you have the time and money and are in the area this summer.
