"Silicon Valley's" Kumail Nanjiani just got about as close as one can to living out the nightmare scenario experienced by fictional dinosaur enthusiast Dr. Alan Grant and suave master of chaos Dr. Ian Malcolm.
As SFGate spotted, Nanjiani and wife Emily Gordon were at Hollywood's Universal Studios when Jurassic Park: The Ride shut down, trapping the couple for a spell.
It's usually at this moment when you would look around for handy glasses of water to tell you whether a Tyrannosaurus Rex was coming down the road.
Thankfully, Nanjiani and Gordon went to the social media route. Here is how the brief but entertaining theme park moment played out:

Luckily nobody was devoured by previously extinct reptiles while sitting on a nearby commode.
According to all Twitter accounts, dinosaurs are still a thing of the past and Nanjiani and Gordon are safe and sound after a dire dinosaur dilemma.
As SFGate notes, the two were not alone in their stalled situation. The report states Buzzfeed's Doree Shafrir, "The Goldbergs" writers Andrew Secunda and Matt Mira were also in tow, tweeting out in kind.
Even the always handy Chris Pratt was mentioned:
Normally these situations play out with an elaborate struggle with some annoying raptors. But in this case, the gaggle of hilarious theme park dwellers made it out in one piece.
As of this writing, however, there is no word of where Wayne Knight (Nedry in "Jurassic Park") was when this ride broke down. Draw your own conclusions from there.
