It's the highest earning film of all time, and this summer, it's going to be one of the most anticipated new attractions at Walt Disney World.
Pandora: World of Avatar is opening on May 27th, and guests will be instantly transported to the moon of Pandora. There, they'll connect with the world taken directly from the film and recreated exclusively for Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Disney has been releasing some very cool, extremely exclusive peeks at one of the hottest new attractions coming to life this summer, including a look at some of the rides and even the food!
Buckle up and hold on as we blast you across the universe for a glimpse of Pandora: World of Avatar.
First up is Na'Vi River Adventure, the boat ride through a bio-luminescent forest. The early word is that this experience will be amazing, as guests come face to face with some of the most advanced animatronics that Disney has yet developed.
The Na'Vi Shaman will greet guests on the ride and be part of the forest. Also, it looks like we'll see various creatures creeping along the river banks, and floating through the air. While these don't look like animatronics, they don't come across as projections either.
The Walt Disney World Website unveils a very delicious first look at the food for Pandora, as the new land will house two exclusive dining features: The first is a small lounge, nestled away in the corner of the signature "Windtraders" store. Pongu Pongu means "party party" in the Na'vi language, and it certainly seems like a good place to get one started.
The little lounge will feature tons of drinks inspired by Pandora, including beer, and cocktails. There's even a bio-luminescent cocktail that will help light you up inside. There will also be light sweet snacks (that look tantalizing).

For a bit of a bigger bite, guests will be able to settle down at the Satu'li Canteen.
The Canteen used to be a mess hall, back when the military used it before…or so the story goes. The company that brings guests to Pandora-Alpha Centauri Expeditions-took it over and brought a little bit of class to the place, with unique Na'vi artifacts from around Pandora, as well as food you'll actually want to eat.
Guests will be able to sample amazing dishes inspired by Avatar, each with hearty and healthy options inspired by international cuisine around our world.
While we don't have any idea what any of this food is, it certainly looks delicious.
