Social Media Ignites Over Rolling Stones Cuban Visit

This is has been a truly historic week for Cuba, bookending a few days that started with a visit from President Barack Obama and ended with a free concert by The Rolling Stones.
As The Seattle Times notes, it’s the biggest entertainment act to hit Cuba since 1959 and quite possibly the greatest concert to ever land in the island nation.
Quite simply, this week has been a momentous one for the people of Cuba.
Unfortunately, not everyone can witness the occasion firsthand – although it will seem like that if you are amid the droves at the Ciudad Deportiva.
Thankfully, we can get some semblance of the madness taking place at the moment. Here is but a snapshot view from various social channels.
We might as well start with a shot from the band itself.

What follows is the sleek official poster of the event.
Here’s a look at the band getting off the plane:

Earlier this month, #Diplo and #MajorLazer played an open-air concert to a crowd of half a million Cubans. #BarackObama’s visited this week, and the #RollingStones will play a free concert in #Havana on Friday. Of course, there are some hiccups to be had:
