Many fans are gearing up for the 2016 “Star Wars” Celebration in July, and Lucasfilm has already announced that the 2017 version of the convention will take place in Orlando.

Announced on the official website of the “Star Wars” film franchise, the convention dedicated to the movies and all of the hype that surrounds them will take place on April 13-17 at the Orange County Convention Center.

Tickets for the “Star Wars” Celebration go on sale on May 25. All updates about potential guests and event schedules will be found at the official “Star Wars” website as they become available.

“Star Wars Celebration has always been about the fans,” Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy said in a statement. “It allows Lucasfilm to connect directly with the thousands of fans who have given their dedication and support to the world of Star Wars over the years, and is the perfect opportunity for us to give something back.”

The 2016 edition of the convention will be held in London in July. The 2015 “Star Wars” Celebration in Anaheim drew an estimated 50,000 fans and featured a number of trailers and teasers from the film franchise.

The 2017 “Star Wars” Celebration will come just a few months after the release of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” and Lucasfilm officials are teasing announcements about “Star Wars: Episode VIII” and exclusive 40th anniversary merchandise at the event.
