Superman Takes Flight High Above London's Victoria Park

Superman was enjoying some downtime in London recently, scouring the city from the vantage of high above Victoria Park.

Then again, it may have been a Superman toy strapped to a drone. We can’t be sure but are inclined to believe the Kryptonian was actually out sightseeing.

You are more than welcome to judge the startling footage for yourself.

Thanks to CNET, we discovered this YouTube video from Barry Craig. It shows Kal-El flying high above the wonderfully verdant Victoria Park with the London landscape stretching far into the distance.

It’s a fantastic way to feel a bit of nostalgia for those who have been fortunate enough to have visited the city.

Also, Superman:

Unfortunately, Craig instantly kills our dreams that this was an actual alien sighting: “So, I duct taped a Superman figure to my Phantom 3 and flew it over Victoria Park.”

While we here at TravelPulse have documented how troublesome drones can be, there have been plenty of videos that show how, with some clever tweaking, the device can be a wonderful way to pay homage to pop culture.

Now you don’t have to a superhero, plastic or otherwise, to visit Victoria Park.

Visit London has a nice breakdown of the area that allows for some prime real estate to meander about or enjoy an afternoon picnic.

And you never know, because you might just spot a member of the Justice League flying around the grounds.
