The Annual International Pillow Fight Looks Like One Big Hilarious Party

There is nothing more entertaining than watching a bunch of adults having a pillow fight aside from being the actual adults in said pillow fight.
Mashable reminded us that we had missed yet another annual pillow bedlam, mandating that we pick our own pillow fights out on the streets with unsuspecting locals.
Eric Larson writes that the team went down and enjoyed New York City’s grand ‘hitting of people with pillows’ event, which is well documented with spirited videos on YouTube.
However, Mashable really got a vivid depiction of what the massive soiree looked like from Washington Square Park:
Now that we have you considering inviting pals over for a completely civilized pillow war, we might as well tell you that the aftermath went to a great cause.
Larson reminds that the event is produced by Newmindspace, which states that “International Pillow Fight Day takes place on the first Saturday of every April” on its website.
However the best news comes via its Facebook page:
Now remember that this is an International event, so New York is just one figurative rumpus room in a very crowded house.
The New York Times explains, “On Saturday, April 4, tens of thousands of people in more than 100 cities worldwide will take to the streets, feathers flying, for the seventh annual International Pillow Fight Day. This year’s event includes cities across four continents, from Shanghai to Seattle, Buenos Aires to Budapest.”
It all kind of depresses you as you stare at an unused pillow lying on the bed.
Well, chin up because there are plenty of videos to enjoy:
While we may have missed out on the event, we can now head to the gym to begin training for next April when we will bring the thunder pillow-wise.
Then again, we may have to have some practice exhibitions, because this looks like just too much fun.
