The Cat Reboot of 'Titanic' Nobody Asked For Has Arrived

In April of 1912, RMS Titanic met a sudden and tragic fate when it hit an iceberg and sank into the ocean. Over 100 years later, someone made a cat video.

When we show you how these two events are linked you will want to shut down the computer, head outside to sun-soaked streets and swear off the Internet forever.

Our latest hate-watching nugget comes by way of Mashable, which spotted a YouTube video posted by Pasdidée entitled “Ticatnic.”

Now we warn that while this video is safe for work, it may cause you to roll your eyes straight out of your skull and onto your desk. And who can make it through the day after something like that?

But this is the Internet, and you love cats, so here is that visual version of that one extra trip to the buffet that you totally shouldn’t have enjoyed.

The feeling you have is brain cells packing their bags and jumping out of your cranium en masse.

The creative team behind this masterpiece mimicked scenes from James Cameron’s “Titanic,” which had a slightly bigger budget.

This “Ticatnic” gem did wake us up to the fact that a great deal of Cameron’s movie featured two co-stars merely looking into the distance, which we never would have spotted if it weren’t for this video featuring cats doing the same.

We presume this now concludes production of cat fare throughout the Internet. Please stop your feline memes, images or videos, because we seem to have hit a wall here.
