The Patagonian Expedition Race Sounds Like Excruciating Fun

If you are in the market for the kind of vacation that takes you to the limit, perhaps consider the exhausting adventure that takes extreme athletes to the end of the world.
In just a couple of minutes you meet Chelsey and Jason Magness; both of whom now have a sizable portion of our respect and admiration, because they have taken part in a race that demands just about every manner of human conveyance.

The race in 2016 will mark a return of sorts for the event, which took a brief respite after 2013.
This time around, however, things are being turned up a notch. The website quotes PER’s founder and race director, Stjepan Pavicic, who offers, “we will move between mountains, fjords, and glaciers towards the western sector of southern Patagonia, an inhospitable territory, to which never before has a race gone.”
Beauty and nature’s grandeur is just the backdrop for some amazing people doing incredible things.
When you are pushing yourself to the edge of possibilities and towards the "end" of the world, there is no time to sit back and appreciate all that is around you.
That’s a shame, because this small group of people are competing in some of the most isolated and captivating places on earth.
