Ferris wheels are apparently the new frontier for karaoke fans.
It may be a mystifying combination to some, but an amusement park in Japan unveiled the world's first karaoke Ferris wheel, according to Lonely Planet.
The new offering is available at Tokyo Dome City on the Big-O Ferris wheel. The incredibly popular Ferris wheel was recently altered with the help of Tokyo-based company Joysound to include karaoke machines.
The machines and microphones are installed in eight of the Big O's 40 gondolas, which can be ridden for no extra charge.
Named one of the coolest ferris wheels on the planet by Travel + Leisure, the Big-O is the world's largest center-less Ferris wheel. It also features a roller caster that zooms through its hollow center.
The ride takes about 15 minutes to complete, leaving plenty of time to belt out one of the 50 songs available, including popular Japanese songs and English songs such as Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing," and The Beatles' "Let it Be."

Each of the wheel's gondolas fit up to four people and, as an added bonus, the ride offers stunning views of the Tokyo skyline.
Earlier this year, Colleen Mangone, director, media relations of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, predicted that new attractions this year would include everything from virtual reality to pop culture and video games.
Now the list includes a karaoke Ferris wheel.
