Nintendo Expanding Partnership with Universal Studios Japan
For video game fans, there is legitimate excitement surrounding Nintendo’s announcement that the company plans to expand its character licensing for attractions at the Universal Studios Japan theme park in Osaka, Japan.

Tickets for Shanghai Disney Resort Cheaper than Hong Kong Counterpart
To lure people to visit the new facility, Walt Disney’s $5.5 billion Shanghai amusement park—Shanghai Disney Resort is scheduled to open on June 16—will be pricing its tickets at an estimated 20 percent cheaper than Hong Kong Disneyland.

Disneyland Celebrating 60th Anniversary with Television Special
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Disneyland, the Disney brand is holding a massive celebration that will feature a two-hour television event called “The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60” on Sunday, Feb. 21 on ABC. The event will be highlighted by a performance from Elton John.

Universal Studios Hollywood has introduced EZ Rez, an easy-to-use online ticket purchasing system that not only allows customers to book date specific tickets, but it also gives EZ Rez ticket holders early entry to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Plans are in the works for a new 286,000-square-foot facility at Walt Disney World's ESPN Wide World of Sports that will eventually host cheerleading and dance team competitions.

Universal Orlando and its corporate owner, Comcast, have revealed that the company has purchased a $130 million piece of property, a large piece of land near International Drive and the Orange County Convention Center. The property is also close to Universal Orlando's main complex and its Wet 'n Wild water park.
