Take a moment out of your day and ogle the beauty that is Iceland.
The Awesomer posted the following video that highlights what may just be one of the more picturesque portions of this planet.
It's hard not to think so when you take in all the sweeping views and moody rhythms edited into the video.
At some point you think you are watching some alien planet featured in a sci-fi blockbuster.
Thankfully, that's not the case, because these images were captured right here on our own magical world.
The short film is like a highlight reel of what makes Iceland such an inviting destination, created by Marcus Sies and Florian Nick who posted the video on the Eylenda Film YouTube channel.
The description explains: "We are two filmmakers studying Audiovisual Media at the Stuttgart Media University in Germany. For our semester film project we have been fortunate enough to spend 14 days filming in Iceland. Our desire was to capture that stunning landscape and wildlife to take you on a journey through this magical island."
We are more than happy to tell the two filmmakers that they succeeded in a tremendous way, because the beauty that jumps off the screen thanks to creativity and video technology astounds us.
The versatile landscape of Iceland is a true treasure we hope to one day see for ourselves. Now if you excuse us, we have to go get our socks, which were recently knocked clear off our feet.
