Ghosts, headhunting airplanes and Disney World abodes: this week had just about everything you could hope for in entertainment.
And here we are recapping the highlights with some stories that will make you jealous, cringe and shift uncomfortably in your seat – not all in that order.
We start by taking a long, hard look at ourselves as a species, pondering what makes us go out and seek danger all for what is just a simple picture of an airplane headed right at our face.
This was the week that we were reminded of St. Bart’s ludicrous airport landing strip. It featured in the above video that nearly recorded what would have been the world’s worst headache.

Downvote: You probably want to be a bit low-key if you are traveling with marijuana paraphernalia on your person or luggage.
Might we suggest not carrying anything that looks like a weapon?
By now you have heard of Colorado’s Stanley Hotel, which is the place that inspired “The Shining” and also happens to be extremely haunted, according to the above image.
Upvote: We believe in ghosts about as ardently as we have faith Bigfoot will finally stay still long enough for a clear picture. However, seeing a ghostly image at this creepy hotel is just too perfect for words.
