Upvote/Downvote: Yellowstone, Richard Branson And More Travel Insanity

This was a horrible week for bears without the aid of a modern conveyance.

Not to worry, because we don’t quite think the bear community will hold a grudge on anybody refusing a ride to one of its black bears. And if that promise has you intrigued, you will enjoy a weekly breakdown of stories that includes the absolute best food in the entire world.

Like a food truck wafting tantalizing smells, there’s no way you can pass that up.

Bum A Ride:

Let’s start the proceedings with a video of a bear roaming Yellowstone that merely wants to get off its feet and bum a ride with a lovely family.

Downvote: This is your weekly reminder that anyone traversing any national park must keep a safe distance from animals. At the very least, people, please lock your doors.

More Yellowstone:

A tourist not minding the rules was fined $1,000 for daring to waltz past a boardwalk and get dangerously close to a thermal hot spring.

Downvote: As we have tragically discovered recently, national parks, theme parks and attractions can prove dangerous.

In the case of Yellowstone, the area was just one week removed from losing a tourist who fell into a spring.

Please be careful out there and mind any signs and restricted areas.

World Of Food:

This week we discovered the top 50 restaurants in the world. Topping that list is an Italian location that we now have pegged as a must-taste destination.

Upvote: We aren’t the silly sort of folk who think we could climb Mt. Everest. But this gauntlet of 50 delicious restaurants is something we can wrap our feeble heads around.

Consider us intrigued by the possibilities.

Counting Sheep:

While posted earlier in the month, the picture above saw a great deal of adoration across social media. It shows Richard Branson catching an employee fast asleep while at work.

Upvote: While we say dance like nobody’s watching, we have to include the lesser known motto: Sleep as if the boss is near.
