Pick up your goblet and salute the fortunate few in Vancouver who will soon be drinking like a Lannister at a Game of Thrones pop-up bar.
The Vancouver Sun reports local watering hole Bambudda is throwing a grand event to usher in the fifth season of the hit HBO show.
Brace yourselves, people over ordering on the cocktails are coming.
Bambudda Gastown proudly tweeted the following to fans and potential patrons:
According to the report, Matt Grippo, who serves as the head bartender at Blackbird Bar in San Francisco, is set to help the cause.
The event, set to go off on March 10, will include the following adult beverages: “Grippo’s arsenal of inventive libations includes the soothing and sultry Milk of the Poppy, the alcohol-forward Mad King, the flaming Mother of Dragons and the deadly delicious Red Wedding. Cocktails are $11 each or three for $30.”
And because ominous cocktails weren’t enough, the bar will also be offering snacks from a menu entitled “All Men Must Dine.”
In any case we would refrain from eating any pies or standing too close to anyone celebrating any recent nuptials.
The fun doesn’t stop there, because the report continues: “Get into the spirit of the evening: Prizes, including The Duke Bourbon and restaurant gift certificates will be awarded to fans who don their best Game Of Thrones costumes.”
That’s right; there will be fancy GoT cosplay occurring on the premises, so bust out your best Oberyn Martell squishy face or Night’s Watch armor.
