Victoria Beckham Fires Back at 'Horrible' Hotel Allegations

Victoria Beckham is not a horrible, insufferable hotel guest, according to Victoria Beckham.
That may be news to those of you who were unaware of a New York Post Page Six report that asserts otherwise, but there you have it.
Over the weekend Richard Johnson reported that Posh Spice had previously been taken to task for how she carried on while staying at Napa resort.
Johnson writes, “Victoria Beckham is the hotel guest from hell, according to those who have traveled with the former Spice Girl.”
The reporter continues, “She asks that every time she leaves her hotel room, maids change the sheets, replace all the towels and completely clean the place — multiple times a day, sources say.”
At the heart of the report is the time Beckham stayed at the Meadowood Napa Valley resort. It’s there that Beckham is purported to have complained to the point that the holiday stay was comped, via Johnson.
Now the report states that Beckham’s publicist patently denies these allegations, which is echoed by a recent E! Online report.
A spokesperson spoke to the publication, reaffirming Beckham’s stance while hinting at possible legal actions that might take place: “No, it's an utter lie. Lawyers are looking into it.”
Now it seems as though there isn’t a great deal that would paint Beckham as the worst hotel guest of all time.
No, that distinction would have to go to the neighbor who blasted music until midnight during our last vacation or anyone who grabs food with their hands instead of using the provided tongs at a continental breakfast.
From the looks of the Page Six report, Beckham is at worst irritable, neurotic and demanding, asking for a room cleaning after each departure.
And maybe she did argue until a hotel manager caved and granted the rooms for free. This is certainly the first we have heard of the famed Spice Girl treating hotel staff horribly. For the moment, and until we get confirmation of such acts, we will give Beckham the benefit of some healthy Internet skepticism.
Until then let’s consider that the initial report paints a picture of some entitled celebrity who wanted their room cleaned multiple times. We have heard of far worse.
