Thanks to the modern whimsy of Las Vegas, you can slide through an actual shark tank and not even have to worry about pitching Mark Cuban.

YouTube channel Insider offers images of the water slide you can enjoy at The Golden Nugget, which allows you to take a quick if not intimate glimpse of sharks as you barrel through what is one peculiar and unforgettable ride.

Now, even those with an extreme fear of sharks can get up close to the famed beasts of the sea world without having to worry about the kind of ensuing carnage we have come to expect in movies like “Jaws” or “Sharknado.”

The Golden Nugget’s website has far more information on how you can enjoy not only its pool but its 30-foot slide through shark-infested waters.

If merely whizzing on past these sea creatures isn’t enough, there is a nearby bar; or, for the more curious, tours of the tank itself. The website explains what you get: “Learn what our sharks and fish dine on and how the feeding process works. You’ll even go home with a souvenir shark tooth!”

Vegas teems with so many wonderful shows and amenities with resorts vying for your interest and dollars.

At The Golden Nugget, you definitely get one of the town’s more peculiar and captivating ways to pass the time when you aren’t chowing at the buffet or winning stack at the blackjack table.
