WATCH: Find Harmony With Monkeys in Bali

It’s always nice to see fellow primates getting along.

YouTube channel Insider highlights a special part of the world where you can actually enjoy monkeying around.

In this case, the good time comes with goofing around with literal monkeys, which take up residence at the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. As one can see from the delightful video posted below, it's possible just to amble about the area and greet the local wildlife with a banana in hand.

Monkeys, it would seem, are simple folk – amused and satisfied with the simplest and most delicious of gestures.

Offering a banana means you just made a friend for life, or for however long it takes you to snap off an amazing selfie.

The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, or Monkey Forest Ubud, is located in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia.

The location’s website explains that it hopes to nurture a harmony found in a concept it calls Tri Hita Karana.

The website states: “The substance of doctrine of Tri Hita Karana is how to make people maintain a harmonious relationship in this life. Those three relationships comprise of harmonious relationships between humans and humans, humans and their environment, and humans with The Supreme God.”

The website also lists some rules throughout the sanctuary —so it's not all monkey business — but it also offers some sound advice on its web page for those considering a similar trip: “In general, monkeys will not come to you if you do not bring bananas or any other food. If you want to interact or feed the monkey, please do it carefully. If you are giving bananas or food to the monkey and they approached to take it, do not ever try to pull it back.”

Like a hungry tourist about to sit down to a large meal, nobody likes it when you tease them with food.

Now that you have this info, there are just a couple things to take care of: Get to Bali and bring all the bananas.
