There are some seriously dumb things you can do at a hotel - ordering room service and paying its exorbitant price may be one of them.
This is the other.
As Digg spotted recently, YouTube user 8Booth decided to hop a fence and enter a hotel location simply to get to the rooftop and jump perilously into the pool below.
The following is a quick video that illustrates exactly what not to do if you are at a hotel or, simply, if you are a human who wants to remain in the realm of the living.
Try as we might, we couldn't quite track down exactly what hotel in Laguna Beach this might be.
Anyone in the know, please feel free to drop us a line and make us an informed set of stunned observers. Because at the moment, all we can do is watch this video captivated by how stunningly dangerous this daredevil's attempt truly is.

It may be a first-person point of view video, but it looks like the jumper gets ridiculously close to the edge as he splashed in safely at the end.
As you may have guessed, this YouTuber has a series of videos that show him jumping off from dangerous precipices and, well, surviving.
Here he is jumping into a pool of water perfectly, but then almost getting sucked into a cave:
But things aren't always extreme as this pleasant romp in the sea illustrates:
We can't stress this enough, kids. Don't run around the pool area and don't, under any circumstance, jump from a few stories up into a pool of water.
