Marriage is full of ups and downs, so what better place to propose to your future spouse than at the top of a roller coaster?
In a report from Jason Fechner of ABC RTV6, Allison Boyle boarded The Voyage roller coaster at Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana, with her boyfriend Austin Crecilius on Sept. 19 thinking she was just going for a simple ride.
Instead, Crecilius began talking about life being like a roller coaster while one of the people they were with at the park with taped him. He eventually asked his girlfriend of two years if she would marry him, and Boyle said yes.
Crecilius shared the full video of the two Anderson University seniors on YouTube:
The soon-to-be-husband also shared a classic image of the duo via the roller coaster camera:
In a bold—but wise—move, ABC News is reporting that the ring Crecilius brought on the ride was a fake, instead making the correct decision to give his future wife the real engagement ring when they were safely on the ground.
Crecilius told ABC News, “I wanted to do something creative and exciting. In many talks we have had we talked about how ‘life is a roller coaster’ and it just seemed fit to propose on a roller coaster.”
