One World Trade Center took over a decade to complete. Here you can watch it being built in about two minutes.
Thanks to EarthCam (h/t Digg) we get the time-lapse that serves as a tremendous bookend to one exhausting and emotional construction project.
The YouTube description hints at a time-lapse video deserving of the same building that boasts the tallest observation deck in the country.
The description states: "Watch and share this commemorative time-lapse movie showing the completion of construction from October 2004 to Memorial Day 2015. Hundreds of thousands of high definition images were captured over the past 11 years and hand-edited for this exclusive time-lapse movie."
TravelPulse's Tom Bastek recently reported that the observation deck millions will soon clamor to enjoy is now fully operational, regaling us with some fairly impressive numbers along the way.
Bastek writes, "Visitors are 1,250 feet above the street level looking out at an almost 50-mile view."
Those with a hankering for some truly breathtaking vistas can get more information at the observation deck's website.
There's a welcome center, elevators that take you back in time and dining options, making this a must-see attraction immediately.
For those who can't make it out, consider taking just a couple minutes to appreciate the hard work that went into creating a truly magnificent landmark.
