Wife Sends Husband Off On Holiday With Hilarious Note

Fellow travelers, please be kind to Jim Gip if you happen to see him meandering around Los Angeles. This is his first time away from his wife, Kim.

The Daily Mail reports on an adorable story that features one husband traipsing far away from his better half for a solo holiday a couple decades in the making. As you will soon see, the wife is confident that her husband will manage just fine away from her usual close personal attention.

However, it pays to give tourists in Las Vegas a heads up that her intrepid hubby may need a hand here or there when it comes to fine dining or simply touring the area.

The image comes by way of their son, Brandon Gip.

In one image we get a note attached to a brightly colored lanyard, something that would be very hard to miss.

That is supposed to be attached to husband Jim Gip, who has already made a major mistake in taking off the note that reads: “My name is Jim, if I look lost, please call my wife Kim Gip on [number deleted]. If I am in a restaurant just staring at the menu, please order me some sort of Asian food, especially white rice. I've never been away from my wife, who does everything for me.”

We can imagine similar notes adorning other spouses all over the nation. My own wife should really send me off on any vacation with a note warning others not to feed me anything larger than a turkey leg, because I tend to go overboard on the amount of food when she isn’t around.

Plus, when it comes to Vegas, it’s very easy to ditch the spoon and fork and dine by figurative shovel.

In any case, son Brandon chimed in with this hilarious note and explains: “My mom made this for my dad because he's going to Vegas this weekend without her.”

We certainly hope Jim made it out of Vegas without starving and had a blast after being brave enough to leave on a solo journey for the first time in over 23 years.
