A teddy bear suffered quite the layover recently. Thankfully, the inanimate plush traveler found his way home thanks to staff at the Toronto Pearson Airport.
It must have been a harrowing moment for this lovable teddy bear named RaRa, which had to rely on those capricious humans to make sure it got home to its owner.
Mashable's Andrea Romano explains that at some point RaRa was separated from four-year-old Phoebe Steel.
Thankfully, a resourceful adult in the form of Phoebe's mother, Jen Heuvelmans Steel, had the idea to reach out to airport staff via Facebook.
Not only did that lead to RaRa's return, which should be the title of the movie that chronicles this experience, but it also garnered a wealth of images that you can flip-out over for the remainder of the day.
Here is how this family reunion went down:
The happy mom was thrilled by the experience and later posted this image of RaRa back with the family after an exhausting ordeal.
Steel writes: "Thank you to everyone at Toronto airport. Ra Ra is home and I have one very happy little girl. You went above and beyond to reunite a little girl and her bear. She also loves the (surprise) little bear that was in there as well."
A similar situation played out at Tampa International Airport when a stuffed Hobbes was accidentally left behind.
As you can see, airport officials are more than keen to get you where you want to go. It just helps if you happen to be an adorable plush animal.
