A woman boarding a China Southern Airlines domestic flight from Wuhan to Guangzhou, China, discovered that she had the whole plane to herself Monday.
According to Gloria Chan of the South China Morning Post, the woman—whose name was only revealed as Zhang—was the only passenger who boarded China Southern Airlines Flight 2833, after the other passengers had all taken earlier flights due to 10-hour delay.

The original flight was scheduled to depart from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport at around 2:40 p.m. local time on Sunday, but a delay forced the flight to depart at 12:40 a.m. local time on Monday.
NBC News Pictures shared an imaged on Twitter of the woman on the plane with only the flight attendants and pilots:
With a rush of Chinese travelers making their way home for the New Year’s celebrations, reports suggest that the extra flights airlines book to withstand the demand during this time of year often carry only a few people.
This is in direct contrast to what happened at Guangzhou station in China. Due to delays and cancellations due to winter storms, around 100,000 rail passengers were stranded at or around the station.
