The "Games of Thrones" tour begins in May and is perfect for the hardcore Thrones fan of the family (and we know there are several).
The tour will take you to the same sites John Snow, Margaery Tyrell, Cersei Lannister, Tyrion Lannister, Daenerys Targaryen and others have roamed along five seasons with an additional treat at the some of the favorite restaurants cast members "like to eat at following a long day of filming" in Croatia.
A North Carolina based tour company, Captivating Croatia begins the tour at 10 AM "so travelers can savor the morning air and enjoy breakfast without gulping down their coffee and croissants while they wonder if the luggage they left outside the door was picked up."
Accommodations for the tour include a 4-star or better hotel or private villa, transportation with breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Airfare isn't included in the package, but transfers to and from the airport are. The cost of the ground package is $1,650 per person, double occupancy. Travel dates are May 14 through 21, 2017; and according to the article, at this writing Travelocity.com shows airfare from $1,000-$1,300.
