There’s really no avoiding technology today and regardless of how you feel about screen time for your kids, if you are traveling with them over the holidays, having your hands on some convenient technology will make the whole experience easier.

From having the right apps to keeping up with streaming music trends, this is the tech you need, says Tucson Local Media.

First, for drivers, make sure you have navigation.

“Apps like Waze, a community-based traffic and navigation guide, offer immediate information and alternate routes that save time when everyone is heading out of town,” says Tucson Local Media.

Another suggestion is to take advantage of in-air Wi-Fi.

“Even in the air, there are ways to keep the family entertained. Inflight internet services, like Gogo, allow for texting and surfing the web, so kids can keep up with their Candy Crush game and mom and dad can hop online to research travel activities,” Tucson Local Media points out.

Streaming music an noise-canceling headphones can also be a great way to drown out the disruptions. Tucson Local Media recommends streaming apps such as Spotify, Apple Music and Pandora with Music Freedom from T-Mobile.
