The Obamas will spend the next two weeks relaxing at the beach, riding bikes, hiking and playing golf, the Associated Press reported. The president and first lady also have plans to meet up with friends at their favorite local restaurants.
The first family has vacationed on the resort island south of Cape Cod almost every summer since the president’s 2009 inauguration, according to AP. They did not visit the island in 2012 because he was in the midst of the 2013 presidential campaign.
But even prior to becoming the 44th president of the U.S., the president and Michelle Obama vacationed on Martha’s Vineyard, AP said.
