As the holidays approach, you may be looking for the perfect gift for the traveler on your list. Use these tips from U.S. News and World Report to help you find just the right one.
One suggestion is a hard-covered book of the world — perfect for the armchair traveler.
“American publishing company Rand McNally recently released a new hardcover book featuring photo-illustrated vignettes of 120 captivating destinations. "Worldly Escapes" takes readers on a captivating journey to more than a hundred destinations around the globe,” suggests Erica Lamberg.
A portable speaker will keep the music on for those on the go.
“Mix passions for travel and music this holiday season with the Bose SoundLink Color II Bluetooth Speaker (available for $129 online or in stores at Dick's Sporting Goods or through Bose),” says Lamberg.
A wine subscription service from Vinley Market's Adventurer's Wine Club is another way to visit the world’s vineyards.
“This subscription service explores regions the world over with monthly shipments of two bottles that best represent their land of origin. Plus, Vinley Market focuses on small batch, artisan wines, and grants members access to top-tier bottles from regions such as France, Australia and South Africa,” writes Lamberg.

For the more foodie inclined, there’s a snacking service.
“Universal Yums, a subscription service that sends out a box of unique snacks and candies from a different country each month, can meet the needs of globetrotters and foodies in one swoop,” suggests Lamberg.
