When you go on vacation, you want to have a good time and, inevitably, there are some cool activities that are on the pricey side. Thankfully, the Daily Mail has put together a few ways to save a few pennies to put toward these amazing experiences — after all, that’s what makes a great vacation.
For example, just cutting out a few cocktails could make a big change.
“It's hard to believe that if you went without just 28 cocktails you could go skydiving in Italy instead,” writes Harriet Mallinson for the Daily Mail.
Addicted to chocolate? Cut it out and an iconic experience could be a reality.
“For the same price as your daily chocolate fix you could enjoy the view from the Eiffel Tower in Paris, with 18 chocolate bars costing £14.50 — the same as a ticket to the top of the iconic landmark,” Mallinson points out.

“Everybody is guilty of splashing out on something... but it’s quite shocking to see how much these everyday and monthly expenditures add up. When you compare this to the cost of some of the world’s most spectacular bucket list activities, you realize that saving up, even in incremental amounts, can instead buy some truly amazing experiences,” International Currency Exchange CEO Koko Sarkari tells the Daily Mail.
