It seems like everywhere you turn, financial planners are telling you to save for this and for that.

Do you have enough in your retirement plan? Do you have a college fund? Are you saving for the future?

What about for the fun things in life?

Saving takes discipline and if you want to save for your next big vacation, you are going to have to take a somewhat regimented approach to putting away money — but the good news is, it doesn’t have to be hard or budget-busting. 

Jetsetter has some tips for the future jetsetters of the world on how you can pad your travel fund in these easy steps. 

First, create a dedicated savings account and automatically create deposits into your bank account. This takes the stress out of accidentally splurging during a shopping spree. 

Put the Internet to work for you. If you are inclined to shop, make sure you are getting the best deal on your purchases and put the savings away.

Another easy way to save: Do an audit of your expenses and rid yourself of those that are unnecessary.
