At one point or another, we've all been sucked into one of those "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" "MTV Cribs" type shows filled with the opulence and excess of celebrity homes.
Maybe you watched in awe as the camera panned over each solid gold toilet seat, indoor bowling alley and perfectly manicured rose garden. Maybe you've seethed with jealousy at the gilded majesty of the good life.
Whichever your reaction, you've no doubt muttered to yourself "If I could just spend a day living like that…" Mutter no more, because some of the most stunning celebrity homes are surprisingly within reach for the adventurous holidaymaker who knows where to look.

And who wouldn't want to tell their friends they're staying at Christie Brinkley's house? Or that they're vacationing at Sting's 16th century villa?
