Never has a gaming app come to life in such a way or made such an impact on a population as the new Pokémon Go app by Nintendo. Everyone is on the hunt for these tiny creatures using their mobile phones. Chances are fairly good that you've run into some of them.
Now, the app is becoming known for something else: being a good tour guide.
"While it's easy for the non-user to scoff, it turns out, if you're trying to tour a new spot, Pokémon Go might be a surprisingly useful tool," Brooke Bobb writes for Vogue.com.
According to the article, there are already private drivers offering rides to players and taking people to Poké stops.
"We can just hear the excited chattering between the members of Uber's creative marketing team. UberPoké, anyone?" says Bobb.
The gaming app has also inspired bar crawls and pedicab rides, meaning you must ask yourself "what's next?"
