#JeSuisBardo: Support for Tunisia Ramps Up on Twitter

In the wake of the Islamic State-Claimed attack on Tunis's Bardo Museum yesterday which killed 19 people and injured 50, people have taken to twitter to pledge their support to the area and tourism that will be affected.  Residents and expats alike posted pictures of the flag and the colors of the country in show of their support.

There are also many people who are pledging to return to the area as soon as they can:

This is just a sampling of the massive outpouring of support you'll find here.

The U.S. Embassy issued an emergency message in response to the attack encouraging both U.S. visitors and residents to be vigilant, exercise caution and avoid areas where large gatherings may occur.  Fallout from the attack will undoubtedly affect not just tourism to Tunisia, but to the whole middle east as well. Cruise ships have already been turning away from the port since the attack.
