The beer landscape is ever evolving for the better.

As the popularity and demand for homegrown suds soar, more and more breweries are opening up and challenging each other to develop a more creative concept than the last one.

There's no doubt craft beer is more accessible than ever before. That's certainly no different in New York City, where a handful of bars are giving visitors more reasons to dive into the Empire City's brew scene.

Torst

The ultimate Big Apple craft beer experience starts at Torst in Brooklyn. With wood seemingly incorporated into every element, this Danish bar takes on a truly unique feel.

As far as the beer is concerned, the draft menu is constantly rotating and the bottle list goes on forever. The 21 draft lines certainly don't discriminate either. Visitors will find plenty of local beers, craft brews from other parts of the country and a healthy amount of international suds.

Torst's variety doesn't end with the beer list: The food menu is diverse and features bar staples like hot dogs and burgers in addition to eyebrow-raisers like Hakurai turnips, beetroots and crispy chicken skin.

Spuyten Duyvil

Spuyten Duyvil is a must-visit rain or shine, but this Williamsburg establishment stands out for its spacious outdoor beer garden that becomes the perfect place to sip on a warm, sunny day.

The bar offers half of a dozen beers on tap, many of which you'll have a tough time finding anywhere else. There's also a cask option and a lengthy bottle list for picky guests, though a meat and cheese board is sure to pair nicely with whatever you choose.

Threes Brewing

Hipster or not, the bar at Brooklyn's Threes Brewing is a sanctuary for craft beer fans. This brewpub is serving up its own beers as well as a slew of other local and faraway concoctions that stay fresh thanks to a 24-line draught system.

Threes Brewing also boasts a fully-stocked liquor bar, plus an extensive cocktail and wine list that changes with the seasons. Thanks to a partnership with local animal butcher shop The Meat Hook, guests can chow down on a variety of delicious pub fare, including cheese plates, burgers, fries, steaks and pizza.

Coffee from Ninth Street Espresso is also available until 6 p.m. every day. A shop selling beer as well as merchandise is open Tuesday through Sunday.

The Blind Tiger Ale House

The Blind Tiger touts itself as "one of the OG's of the New York beer scene" and rightfully so. It's been around for more than two decades, winning over new guests each year with carefully-chosen beer offerings and some of the best bar food in the city.

The draught list here is robust and features a myriad of beers, including coffee cream porters, sours, imperial stouts, IPAs, ales, ciders and wheats.

Chef Jeff Maslanka is cooking up a plethora of delicious menu items, including salads, sandwiches and even tacos. Stopping by with friends? Put in an order of pilsner brined chicken wings or nachos for the table.

The Blind Tiger also offers a selection of different cheeses from Murray's Cheese every Wednesday evening beginning at 6 p.m. It's free, so be sure to arrive early.

Alewife NYC

This Long Island City craft beer bar isn't lying when it claims to have "no crap on tap." After all, Alewife NYC is home to four dozen rotating draft lines as well as a full selection of bottled and can brews.

Patrons will discover plenty of local selections as well as some hard-to-find beers. Bourbon drinkers will also fall in love with Whiskey Wednesdays.

Plus, there's always something going on at Alewife, whether it's bingo, trivia or brunch. Combine your beer and event with some grub from the kitchen, which is pumping out tacos, burgers and more.

Still not sold? Did we mention Alewife is home to all-day Happy Hour?
