Some of the World’s Best Travel Sights Are Totally Free

There are many notable travel attractions that you have to pay for, but some of the hidden gems of the world are totally free — and Lonely Planet is giving you the scoop on where to find the best of the best.

Lonely Planet has released what the DailyMail terms the bible of free spots around the world, a guide to savings called “The Best Things in Life Are Free.”

And what does it include? Places such as Pig Island on the Bahamas where pigs roam free (just like you can). You can also paddle around in the water with them — now, that’s a sure fire way to blow up your Instagram feed.

The Maliandao Tea Market in China is another free attraction. You can pretty much see all the different types of tea in China at this market that is primarily aimed at wholesalers but where vendors will let visitors sample various brews in their quaint teashops.

In Berlin, visitors can utilize one of the coolest summer attractions gratis: The Badeschiff urban beach club has a swimming pool on a barge in the Spree River.

Singapore allows visitors to stroll through its Gardens by the Bay Supertree-tops, lit up at night, without charging a penny.
