There’s nothing like a TED Talk to make you feel inspired and there’s nothing that will inspire your wanderlust more than listening to one of these nine TED Talks as suggested by Lauren Begley Bloom in Forbes

If you are counting down the days until your next adventure, listen to photojournalist Kitra Cahana recount her journeys as she documents the lives of nomads living in idiosyncratic places.

Bloom also recommends filmmaker Karen Bass who “shares breathtaking images she’s shot for the BBC and National Geographic, from a magnificent starry sky in the Andes to the unique tongue of a rare bat in Ecuador.”

In another TED talk, you can get curious about travel with Judith Fein.

“Fein’s TED Talk will make you want to travel deeper and challenge yourself to not just be a tourist, but to be an ambassador who both asks and answers questions,” Bloom says.

Others talk about travel writing and global change, how to turn travel into a career and traveling with almost no money at all. If you are at all curious about the world around you, these talks and more are sure to make you want to hit the road and leave real life behind.
